この村山聖九段の生きざまを綴ったノンフィクション「聖の青春」も、瀬川先生のファンにぜひともご一読してほしい本です。

もし存命ならば、名人のタイトルを一度は獲得していたかもしれない・・・２９歳という早すぎる死。
あまりに惜しい逸材でした。

瀬川先生や、村山聖九段の将棋との向き合い方に感動し、将棋を趣味とし、将棋の素晴らしさを周囲の人に伝えていく人が一人でも多くなることを願わずにはいられません。

その村山聖を育てた森先生との対戦、楽しみにしております。
